CF Montreal midfielder Matko Miljevic will be sidelined eight to 12 weeks following knee surgery.

The club announced Friday that Miljevic underwent surgery Thursday in Argentina.

He tore his left meniscus in last weekend’s preseason match against the Houston Dynamo.

Miljevic, 21, has two goals and one assist in 27 matches (eight starts) over the past two seasons.
