Brooks Lee delivered a go-ahead RBI single in the 11th inning and Byron Buxton had three hits to boost the Minnesota Twins to an 8-6 victory against the host Chicago White Sox on Monday.

Matt Wallner, Carlos Correa and Trevor Larnach homered as Minnesota improved to 8-0 against Chicago this season while winning for the seventh time in nine games overall.

Willi Castro, Jose Miranda, Lee and Wallner had two hits apiece for the Twins, who outhit the White Sox 15-7. Lee and Wallner each drove in two runs.

The White Sox rallied for three runs in the sixth inning to take a 5-2 lead, only to see the Twins storm back in the seventh against rookie reliever Jordan Leasure.

Recalled from Triple-A Charlotte before the game, Leasure allowed four runs and four hits in two-thirds of an inning. Buxton doubled before Lee hit an RBI single. One out later, Wallner hooked a line-drive, two-run blast inside the right field foul pole to tie the game at 5 before Correa hit a solo shot to left two batters later.

Correa returned to the lineup after leaving Sunday’s game against the Houston Astros in the first inning due to a right finger contusion.

Chicago used RBI singles from Eloy Jimenez and Nicky Lopez and Lopez’s slick baserunning to take a 5-2 lead after six innings.

Lopez struck again in the eighth, blooping a game-tying RBI double to left with two outs.

Jhoan Duran (5-3) was the winner, pitching a scoreless 10th. Kody Funderburk worked a perfect 11th for his first career save.

White Sox reliever Jared Shuster (1-2) allowed two runs (one earned) and two hits in one inning. After Lee’s go-ahead hit, another run scored on Manuel Margot’s groundout.

Larnach opened the scoring with a first-inning solo shot against White Sox starter Chris Flexen.

Martin Maldonado reached Twins starter Chris Paddack for a game-tying solo shot in the third.

Buxton doubled home a run in the fourth. The lead lasted until Chicago’s Corey Julks hit a game-tying RBI double in the fifth.

Minnesota reinstated Paddack (right arm fatigue) from the 15-day injured list before the game. He allowed two runs and three hits in five innings to go along with two walks and three strikeouts.

Flexen gave up two runs and seven hits in six innings. He walked one and struck out four.

Miranda extended his career-best hitting streak to 12 games. Chicago’s Lenyn Sosa went 0-for-5 and had his streak end at eight games.

Lopez (two RBIs) and Jimenez both had two hits for the White Sox.
