Trea Turner hit two solo home runs, singled twice and drove in three runs while Aaron Nola took a no-hitter into the seventh as the host Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Detroit Tigers 8-3 on Monday.

Nick Castellanos and Bryce Harper each added two hits and an RBI and J.T. Realmuto hit a two-run double for the Phillies, who won their third straight game.

Nick Maton broke up Nola’s no-hitter with a three-run home run in the seventh inning. Nola (5-4) struck out 12 to tie a career high and walked three over seven innings. He allowed one hit and all three runs were unearned.

Nola recorded double-digit strikeouts for the 29th time in his career.

Tigers starter Joey Wentz (1-6) allowed seven hits and five runs with five walks and four strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.

The Tigers have dropped four in a row.

The Phillies went ahead 1-0 in the first when Turner bounced an RBI single to left. They threatened for more runs, but Drew Ellis struck out with the bases loaded to end the inning.

Castellanos ripped an RBI double to left in the second for a 2-0 advantage.

Detroit’s Jake Marisnick walked with two outs in the third but was picked off by Realmuto at first base.

In the bottom of the third, Turner launched a solo homer 420 feet to left for a 3-0 lead.

Harper hit an RBI single in the fifth for a 4-0 advantage, but he was thrown out trying to reach second base. Turner then blasted his second solo shot for a five-run lead. It was the 12th career multi-homer game for Turner.

Two Tigers batters, Eric Haase and Andy Ibanez, had clock violations that resulted in strikeouts through the first six innings.

Zach McKinstry walked to open the seventh and Javier Baez reached on an error by third baseman Edmundo Sosa. Akil Baddoo struck out and Spencer Torkelson grounded out to Sosa, who made a diving stop and completed the long throw to first, but Maton then broke up the no-hitter with a three-run shot to right to close within 5-3.

Realmuto responded with a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh and Sosa contributed an RBI single for an 8-3 advantage.
