Gavin Lux and Shohei Ohtani each hit a two-run double and the Los Angeles Dodgers continued their success against the visiting San Francisco Giants while remaining unbeaten since the All-Star break, posting a 5-2 victory on Tuesday.

Ohtani finished with three RBIs, while rookie right-hander Landon Knack gave up one run over five innings as the Dodgers won their fifth consecutive game. Los Angeles improved to 8-3 against the Giants this year, with the season series set to end Thursday.

Rookie Tyler Fitzgerald homered in a fifth consecutive game for the Giants. It is the longest home run streak by a San Francisco player since Barry Bonds had a seven-game run in 2004. Fitzgerald finished with two RBIs.

Right-hander Jordan Hicks (4-7) gave up four runs and walked five over 3 2/3 innings as the Giants fell to 1-4 since the break. Hicks allowed three hits and fanned seven.

The Dodgers used a two-out rally to take the lead in the first inning. Freddie Freeman was hit by a pitch, Teoscar Hernandez walked and Hicks delivered his second wild pitch of the frame before Lux ripped a two-run double to right field.

Fitzgerald produced his brush with Giants greatness in the second inning when he went deep to left field. He homered against the Toronto Blue Jays just before the break and has added two blasts against the Colorado Rockies and two against the Dodgers since.

In the fourth inning, the Dodgers got a walk from Jason Heyward and a single from Cavan Biggio before Ohtani hit a two-out double off the right field fence to bring home both runners. The two-bagger ended Hicks’ outing.

Ohtani came through on a night when he tied a season high with three strikeouts. He also fanned twice against the Giants on Monday.

Knack (2-2) had six strikeouts and walked two while earning his first victory in seven appearances. He threw a career-high 96 pitches.

Ohtani added an RBI single in the eighth inning before Fitzgerald got the Giants within 5-2 with an RBI single in the ninth inning against left-hander Alex Vesia. With the bases loaded, Dodgers right-hander Evan Phillips got LaMonte Wade Jr. to end the game with a groundout for his 15th save.
