The visiting Colorado Rockies tied a team record with seven home runs in a game — including back-to-back homers twice in the seventh inning — and held on for a 10-6 win against the sinking Washington Nationals on Tuesday night.

Michael Toglia had three hits and homered twice. Hunter Goodman went deep for the third time in two nights, and Thairo Estrada, Ryan McMahon, Sam Hilliard and Mickey Moniak joined the home run barrage.

Colorado posted 10 hits and won its third straight game for the second time this season.

Rockies starter Antonio Senzatela (2-10) allowed one unearned run on three hits in five innings, lowering his ERA from 7.23 to 6.72.

Nathaniel Lowe homered in the eighth and doubled in the ninth, and Luis Garcia Jr. hit a two-run shot during a four-run ninth for the Nationals, who have dropped 10 straight and 13 of 15 in June.

Washington’s Brady House, called up on Monday, had his first two major league hits and drove in his first run with a single in the ninth.

Michael Soroka (3-5) gave up three runs on five hits in six innings. He struck out nine.

The Rockies broke the game open with a six-run seventh. Moniak walked and stole second against Cole Henry. Tyler Freeman was hit by a pitch for the third time and Goodman followed with a homer to left to make it 6-1. McMahon then smacked a solo shot.

Jackson Rutledge came on and retired two batters, but Toglia and Hilliard went back-to-back off him to make it 9-1.

Colorado’s four homers in one inning tied another team record.

Moniak’s homer increased the lead to 10-1 in the eighth.

The Nationals took a 1-0 lead in the first inning without a hit. Garcia reached when center fielder Brenton Doyle dropped a fly ball for a three-base error and scored on a wild pitch.

Estrada tied it when he homered in the second.

The Rockies took the lead in the fourth. With two outs and one on, Toglia, recalled Monday from Triple-A Albuquerque, homered to make it 3-1.
