The New York Yankees reached a one-year, $2.5 million deal with infielder Amed Rosario, per multiple media reports. The contract will include another $250,000 in possible incentives.

Overall, he posted six home runs, 23 RBIs, and slashed .276/.309/.436 in 62 games last season between the Washington Nationals and Yankees last season.

The Yankees acquired Rosario in a trade with the Nationals in late July. He was limited to 16 games with New York due to a shoulder injury and batted .303 (10-for-33) and hit one home run. In the postseason, in he batted .300 (3-for-10) with one RBI.

Rosario has experience playing all over the field. Last season, he started games at third base, second base, and right field for the Yankees.
