Ramon Laureano homered and had three hits and three RBIs and Colton Cowser launched a long blast to help the Baltimore Orioles post a 7-4 victory over the Athletics on Saturday night at West Sacramento, Calif.

Gunnar Henderson reached base four times on three singles and a hit-by-pitch for the Orioles, who won for the seventh time in their past eight games and evened the three-game series.

Henderson also had an RBI, a run, a stolen base and made a fine defensive throw to save a run while Cowser had two hits for Baltimore.

Lawrence Butler and Jack Wilson each had two hits for the Athletics, who had a two-game winning streak halted. The Athletics have lost 21 of their past 24 games.

Cowser hit a massive 455-foot homer to right with one out in the sixth off Luis Severino (1-6) to give Baltimore a 5-4 lead. The Orioles added another run later in the frame on two walks and a throwing error by Athletics third baseman Logan Davidson on Jackson Holliday’s grounder.

Baltimore moved ahead 7-4 in the seventh after Henderson was hit by Hogan Harris’ pitch. One out later, he stole second and then scored on Laureano’s single to left.

Felix Bautista walked Tyler Soderstrom to start the ninth before striking out the next three hitters for his 12th save.

Keegan Akin (1-0) threw one pitch — and gave up a double — and was credited with the victory.

Severino was charged with six runs (five earned) and eight hits over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out five and walked four.

The Orioles trailed by three before getting back in the game in the fourth. Ryan O’Hearn led off with a walk and scored on Laureano’s two-run blast to left.

In the fifth, Adley Rutschman doubled with two outs and scored on Henderson’s single to tie it at 4.

In the bottom of the fifth, JJ Bleday was on first with two outs when Butler doubled to left off Akin. Henderson made a stellar relay throw as Bleday was out of the plate.

Baltimore’s Charlie Morton lasted just 2 1/3 innings. He gave up four runs, six hits, four walks and struck out five.

After Baltimore scored on O’Hearn’s sacrifice fly in the first, the Athletics sent 10 men to the plate and scored four runs in their half of the frame.

Butler led off with a double and scored on Wilson’s single. The bases were loaded later in the inning as Willie MacIver singled in a run and Bleday drew a walk to force in another. Max Schuemann’s infield single drove in the fourth run.
