Rookie Heriberto Hernandez drove in four runs, including two on a double in the four-run 10th, helping the visiting Miami Marlins to an 8-5 win against the San Francisco Giants in the middle game of a three-game series on Wednesday.

Hernandez gave the Marlins a 4-2 lead with a two-out, two-run single in the eighth. After the Giants tied it in the ninth, he came through again in the 10th.

Otto Lopez had three hits and three RBIs and Agustin Ramirez had two hits and scored twice for Miami, which has won three in a row to match its longest winning streak of the season. The Marlins also secured a series victory and will go for a sweep on Thursday.

Miami starter Edward Cabrera surrendered two runs and three hits in 5 1/3 innings, striking out six and walking three.

Mike Yastrzemski homered and Heliot Ramos had two hits and an RBI for the Giants, who had won two of three.

Giants right-hander Logan Webb couldn’t win a third straight start after allowing two runs and six hits in six innings. He struck out six and walked three.

Lopez gave the Marlins a 5-4 lead in the 10th with a soft single to center off San Francisco closer Camilo Doval (3-2), scoring automatic runner Nick Fortes from second.

Hernandez then doubled into the left-center-field gap to make it 7-4. He continued to third on the throw home and scored on a sacrifice fly by Connor Norby to increase the advantage to 8-4.

Ramos had an RBI single in the 10th for the Giants to make it 8-5.

Yastrzemski led off the first by pulling a low fastball off the right field foul pole to give the Giants a 1-0 lead.

Miami’s Kyle Stowers doubled with one out in the fourth to put runners on second and third. Lopez then hit a line drive that rolled to the wall in the left-center-field gap, scoring two runs to give the Marlins a 2-1 lead.

Christian Koss tied the score 2-2 with a sacrifice fly to center in the fifth.

Liam Hicks hit a grounder just inside the first base line to put Marlins runners on second and third with no outs in the eighth. Tyler Rogers got the next two batters out with no damage, but Hernandez reached out and lined a two-run single to center to give the Marlins a 4-2 lead.

Marlins closer Calvin Faucher (3-2) hit Dominic Smith and Casey Schmitt with pitches to start the ninth and then walked Jung Hoo Lee to load the bases.

Willy Adames flied out to the wall in left to score Smith and cut the deficit to 4-3. The other two runners also moved up on the play, and Patrick Bailey then lined a single to left, scoring Schmitt with the run, but Lee was thrown out at the plate by Stowers.
