Marcus Semien homered and drove in two runs and Wyatt Langford tripled and had two hits and two RBIs as the Texas Rangers salvaged the final game of their three-game series with the San Francisco Giants with a 7-2 victory on Sunday afternoon in Arlington, Texas.

Semien, hit in the helmet by a 94.5 mph fastball by San Francisco starter Keaton Winn leading off the bottom of the first, scored twice and drove in two runs for Texas, which snapped a two-game losing streak. Josh Smith singled, walked twice and scored two runs, Ezequiel Duran had two RBIs and Adolis Garcia stole home for the Rangers, who finished with four stolen bases.

Nathan Eovaldi (3-2) picked up the win, allowing two runs on five hits over seven innings. He walked one and struck out five.

Mike Yastrzemski homered for San Francisco, which had a three-game winning streak snapped. Winn (3-7), activated off the 15-day injured list earlier Sunday after missing almost a month with a right forearm strain, suffered the loss by allowing seven runs on six hits over 4 1/3 innings. He walked two and struck out a season-high seven batters.

Texas, held to just 10 hits total while losing the first two games of the series, jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning. After Semien was hit in the head by Winn’s first pitch, he stole second before Smith walked and Garcia lined a single to left to load the bases. Winn looked like he might get out of the jam when he struck out Nathaniel Lowe and Duran, but Langford then bounced a single to center to drive in both Semien and Smith. Garcia then scored on the back end of a double steal with Langford to make it 3-0.

The Rangers extended their lead to 5-0 in the second when Semien lined his 11th homer of the season, a two-run drive down the left-field line.

San Francisco cut it to 5-1 in the third on a two-out single by Patrick Bailey to drive in Casey Schmitt, who had singled and advanced to second on a single by Trenton Brooks.

Yastrzemski made it 5-2 in the fourth with his seventh home run, a towering 382-foot drive down the right-field line. The Rangers extended the lead to 7-2 in the fifth when Smith walked, Lowe doubled and Duran drove in both with a single.

Texas star Corey Seager (hamstring) missed the entire three-game series.
