Rays reliever Pete Fairbanks (2-3) earned the win. He pitched two innings and gave up one run.

Twins reliever Griffin Jax (3-3) allowed one unearned run in one inning.

The Twins erased a 6-2 deficit in the bottom of the ninth.

Santana led off the inning with his 12th homer to cut the deficit to three runs.

Minnesota was down to its final out with runners on second and third when Miranda came to bat. He took two strikes before belting a three-run homer to left-center field to make it 6-6.

The Rays opened the scoring in the top of the second. Josh Lowe hit a leadoff double and scored moments later on Randy Arozarena’s double to left field.

Minnesota pulled even at 1-1 in the bottom of the second. Kyle Farmer ripped an RBI double to left field to drive in Santana, who reached on a one-out single.

Brandon Lowe hit a sacrifice fly to right field to give the Rays a 2-1 lead in the top of the third.

In the bottom half, the Twins once again pulled back to even the score at 2-2. Lewis pulled a 373-foot solo home run over the wall in left for his ninth homer.

Tampa Bay scored one run in the eighth and three more in the ninth to pull ahead 6-2.

Amed Rosario ripped an RBI double to put the Rays on top 3-2. They maintained their pressure in the ninth as Siri led off the inning with his ninth homer. Diaz followed three batters later with a two-run blast for his fifth homer.
