Jo Adell had three hits, including a pair of tape-measure home runs, and drove in three as the Los Angeles Angels rallied from a four-run deficit to defeat the Seattle Mariners 8-6 on Saturday night in Anaheim, Calif.

Chris Taylor homered and drove in two, Zach Neto went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run for Los Angeles, which won for the fourth time in the last five games. Connor Brogdon (1-0) picked up the win with 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief and Kenley Jensen earned his 14th save as the Angels evened the three-game series.

Cal Raleigh hit two home runs and drove in four, Randy Arozarena went 3-for-5 with a stolen base and Cole Young and J. P. Crawford each doubled and had two hits and an RBI for Seattle, which lost its fifth straight. Julio Rodriguez went 2-for-2 with a stolen base and a run before departing in the third after getting struck in the right ankle with a 98.1 mph liner hit by Arozarena while trying to steal third base.

Luis Castillo (4-4) allowed six runs (four earned) on eight hits over five innings. He struck out five and didn’t issue a walk.

Seattle jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first on a three-run homer by Raleigh, a 372-foot drive to right-center that just cleared Adell’s glove. Raleigh became only the second catcher to hit 25 home runs before July 1, joining Hall of Famer Johnny Bench (1970).

The Mariners extended their lead to 4-0 in the second when Young led off with a ground-rule double down the right field line and scored on a single by Crawford.

Los Angeles cut it to 4-2 in the bottom of the second on solo home runs by Taylor, his first as an Angel, and Adell, a 431-foot blast to left-center.

The Angels tied it at 4 in the third when Neto singled, advanced to second on an error, then scored on a two-out error. Ward then scored on a Taylor double to right.

Adell gave Los Angeles a 5-4 lead in the fourth with his 11th home run, a 445-foot drive to left-center. The Angels made it 6-4 an inning later when Ward doubled off the wall in left-center to drive in Nolan Schanuel.

Seattle cut the lead to 6-5 in the sixth when Miles Mastrobuoni led off with a single, stole second and scored on a single by Young.

The Angels increased the lead to 8-5 with RBI singles by Neto in the sixth and Adell in the seventh. Raleigh ended the scoring with his major-league-leading 26th homer in the ninth, a 427-foot drive to right-center.
