Freddie Freeman homered twice and drove in five runs, and Teoscar Hernandez went 5-for-5 with a triple, double and two runs scored to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to an 11-6 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the finale of their four-game series in Phoenix, Ariz.

It was the 20th multi-homer game of Freeman’s career and the third five-hit game of Hernandez’s career. Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-4 with two walks, three stolen bases and two runs scored, Mookie Betts went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and three runs scored, Chris Taylor doubled, had two hits and scored twice and Will Smith also had two hits and two RBIs for Los Angeles (83-55) which finished with 17 hits and claimed the season series tiebreaker with the Diamondbacks, 7-6.

Jack Flaherty (11-6) improved to 4-1 in six starts with the Dodgers since coming over from the Detroit Tigers at the trade deadline. He allowed one run on five hits, struck out seven and walked three over 5 2/3 innings.

Eugenio Suarez went 3-for-4 with a home run, double and three runs scored and Jake McCarthy and Corbin Carroll each had two hits for Arizona (77-61). Eduardo Rodriguez (2-1) suffered the loss, allowing three runs on seven hits over four innings. He walked two and struck out one.

Los Angeles took a 3-0 lead in the third. Taylor led off with a double off the center field wall, advanced to third on a groundout by Ohtani and then scored on a single by Betts. Freeman followed with a home run, an opposite-field drive to left.

Arizona cut the lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the third when Suarez led off with a double and scored on a groundout by Carroll.

The Dodgers extended the lead to 6-1 in the seventh. Freeman hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Ohtani, who singled and then stole second and third to give him 46 stolen bases for the season. Smith added a two-run single.

The Diamondbacks cut it to 6-3 in the bottom half of the inning on a sacrifice fly by Geraldo Perdomo and a groundout by McCarthy.

Los Angeles then broke the game open with a five-run, six-hit eighth inning. Betts hit a two-run double and Freeman followed with his 21st homer, a 435-foot drive to center that drove in Betts.

Suarez hit his 23rd homer, a towering 438-foot drive to left-center, to cut it to 11-4 in the eighth and Josh Bell finished the scoring with a two-run single in the ninth.
