Trea Turner hit a tiebreaking two-run single and J.T. Realmuto homered to lead the Philadelphia Phillies to a 6-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday night in Phoenix.

Bryce Harper had three hits and an intentional walk as Philadelphia won for the fourth time in its last five games. Realmuto, Kyle Schwarber, Edmundo Sosa and Weston Wilson added two hits apiece.

Jake McCarthy and Eugenio Suarez homered for Arizona, which had a four-game winning streak end. McCarthy had three hits and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Geraldo Perdomo had two apiece as the Diamondbacks fell to 14-5 since the All-Star break.

Carlos Estevez allowed a two-out, run-scoring single to McCarthy in the ninth inning before retiring Gurriel on a fly to right to post his first save since joining Philadelphia. He had 20 saves with the Los Angeles Angels before being acquired at the trade deadline.

Kolby Allard (1-0) gave up one run and six hits over five innings for the Phillies. He struck out three and walked none.

Arizona’s Jordan Montgomery (7-6) was charged with four runs and eight hits over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out four and walked three.

Philadelphia took the lead for good with a four-run sixth inning.

With one out, Montgomery hit Nick Castellanos with a pitch. Wilson drilled a two-out double off the wall in left to knot the score at 1-1.

Johan Rojas and Schwarber walked to load the bases against Montgomery. Reliever Dylan Floro entered, and Turner greeted him with a two-run ground single through the left side of the infield. Harper followed with a single to right-center to give the Phillies a 4-1 lead.

The Diamondbacks answered in the bottom of the frame against Orion Kerkering. Ketel Marte walked and McCarthy followed with a blast to right, his fourth of the season.

Realmuto led off the top of the seventh by drilling a 1-2 cutter from Slade Cecconi over the wall in left-center for his eighth homer of the campaign.

Realmuto hit a leadoff double in the top of the ninth and scored on Sosa’s one-out double to push the Philadelphia lead to 6-3.

Earlier, Arizona took a 1-0 lead in the fifth when Suarez smacked a cutter from Allard off the left field foul pole. The blast was his 17th of the season.
