Bryce Harper homered, doubled, singled and drove in three runs to lift the host Philadelphia Phillies past the New York Mets 10-5 on Wednesday.

Kyle Schwarber added two hits and Cristian Pache knocked in two runs for the Phillies, who beat the Mets for the third day in a row. The prior two contests were in New York. Philadelphia won for the 12th time in 14 games.

Phillies starter Ranger Suarez (8-0) tossed five innings and gave up four hits and two runs, both unearned, to go along with three strikeouts and two walks.

J.D. Martinez had two hits, including a solo home run, and Mark Vientos and Tomas Nido each added two hits and an RBI for the struggling Mets, who fell for the fifth time in six games. Jeff McNeil contributed an RBI double.

Mets starter Joey Lucchesi (0-1) lasted 4 1/3 innings and allowed five hits and five runs with two strikeouts and four walks.

Vientos hit an RBI double and the Mets led 1-0 in the first inning.

The Phillies tied the game at 1 in the bottom of the first when Harper belted a solo home run to left field.

Suarez threw a wild pitch in the third and Pete Alonso scored to give the Mets a 2-1 advantage.

In the bottom of the fifth, Schwarber walked with the bases loaded to force in a run and J.T. Realmuto followed with an RBI single to right for a 3-2 lead.

Harper kept the pressure on with a two-run double for a 5-2 advantage, ending Lucchesi’s night. Realmuto was thrown out at home trying to score on the play.

The Phillies extended their lead to 7-2 in the sixth when Pache hit an RBI groundout and Edmundo Sosa later scored on a throwing error by second baseman McNeil.

The Mets placed runners on first and second with no outs in the seventh. Alonso grounded into a 5-4-3 double play. Alonso was initially called safe, but the call was overturned after a review. Francisco Lindor flied to center for the third out.

Philadelphia added three more in the seventh on a run-scoring error, a sacrifice fly from Pache and an RBI single from Johan Rojas for a 10-2 lead.

Martinez crushed a towering solo homer to left in the eighth. The Mets added two more runs in the frame, on an RBI double by McNeil and an RBI single by Nido.
