Brice Turang homered twice and drove in four runs, and the Milwaukee Brewers routed the Washington Nationals 14-3 to complete a sweep of the three-game series.

The Brewers, who boast the best record (67-44) in baseball, scored 38 runs and collected 56 hits in the series.

Joey Ortiz had two hits and drove in four runs, and Brandon Lockridge had two hits and three RBIs for Milwaukee, which finished 6-0 against Washington this season.

Milwaukee’s scheduled starter, rookie Jacob Misiorowski, was placed on the injured list Sunday morning with a left tibia contusion.

Logan Henderson was recalled from Triple-A Nashville and pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing a run on three hits and two walks while striking out four. Aaron Ashby (2-1) pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings and struck out three for the win.

Drew Millas had two doubles for Washington.

Brad Lord (2-6) took the loss, allowing three runs on six hits over 4 2/3 innings. He struck out six and walked two.

As in the first two games, Milwaukee scored in the first inning when consecutive singles by William Contreras, Andrew Vaughn and Christian Yelich made it 1-0.

With two outs in the second and a runner on first, Turang homered to right center to make it 3-0.

The Nationals broke through in the fifth when Millas doubled and Jacob Young singled off Henderson to cut the Nationals’ lead to 3-1. Ashby came on and struck out CJ Abrams and James Wood to end the threat.

Blake Perkins walked and pinch hitter Caleb Durbin singled leading off the sixth. Perkins scored on a sacrifice fly by Lockridge and then Durbin stole third and scored on Millas’s throwing error on the play to make it 5-1.

The Brewers broke it open against Zach Brzykcy in the seventh. With one out, Yelich walked, Isaac Collins singled and Perkins walked to load the bases. Durbin was hit by a pitch, forcing in a run, and Lockridge singled, scoring two runs to make it 8-1. After a wild pitch, Ortiz singled home two more runs. Ryan Loutus came on to face Turang, who homered to right to make it 12-1.

Ortiz doubled home two runs in the eighth.

Millas smacked a two-run double in the bottom of the ninth.
