Former Marlins star Christian Yelich slugged a go-ahead, two-run triple in the eighth inning, leading the visiting Milwaukee Brewers to a 7-5 win over Miami on Tuesday night.

William Contreras went 2-for-4 with three RBIs in the win. He also walked and scored the go-ahead run in the eighth.

Miami shortstop Tim Anderson, who hadn’t played since May 10 due to a back injury, went 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Brewers rookie reliever Tobias Myers (1-2) pitched one scoreless inning to earn his first MLB win.

Trevor Megill, who blew a save chance in a loss to Miami on Monday, pitched a scoreless ninth. It was his seventh save of the year.

A.J. Puk (0-5) took the loss, allowing three runs in two-thirds of an inning.

Both starters escaped with no-decisions. Milwaukee’s Robert Gasser gave up 10 hits, five runs (four earned) in six innings, walking none and striking out none. Miami’s Trevor Rogers allowed four runs on six hits and four walks, striking out four in 3 2/3 innings.

Rogers got into trouble in each of the first two innings — both times after missing badly on 3-2 counts.

In the first, Andruw Monasterio drew the leadoff walk and scored on Contreras’ double to right.

Gary Sanchez drew the leadoff walk in the second. He advanced on Owen Miller’s single and scored from second on Blake Perkins’ single to left.

Miami cut its deficit to 2-1 with an unearned run in the bottom of the second. Jazz Chisholm Jr. reached on second baseman Monasterio’s fielding error. Chisholm scored on Otto Lopez’s single.

In the fourth, Rogers issued a one-out walk to Perkins, who advanced on a wild pitch and a Monasterio single. Contreras then stroked a two-run single to give the Brewers a 4-1 lead.

Miami cut its deficit to 4-2 in the fifth. Emmanuel Rivera hit a leadoff double and scored on Josh Bell’s bases-loaded sacrifice fly. But Jake Burger flied out to end the threat.

The Marlins took a 5-4 lead in the sixth. With Chisholm at second and Anderson on first — both after hitting singles — Lopez put down a sacrifice bunt. Contreras, moving to his left, made the play at first base. But Chisholm scored from second, diving in ahead of a tag attempt.

Rivera followed with an RBI single, and Dane Myers lofted a go-ahead sacrifice fly.

But Milwaukee surged ahead 7-5 in the eighth. Jake Bauers greeted Puk with a leadoff double. Contreras walked, and both runners scored as Yelich hit a triple to right. Willy Adames followed with an RBI double.
