Willy Adames and Gary Sanchez hit back-to-back homers in the first inning, William Contreras also went deep and finished with two hits, and the host Milwaukee Brewers beat the Colorado Rockies 5-2 on Saturday night.

Tobias Myers (7-5) struck out a career-high 11 in six innings to help Milwaukee (82-60) end a three-game losing streak. The Brewers have not lost four in a row this season.

Devin Williams struck out the side in the ninth for his ninth save for Milwaukee, which leads the National League Central by 10 games over the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals.

Adames, who also singled, got Milwaukee going after Ty Blach retired the first two batters in the first inning. His 30th home run to right field put the Brewers ahead 1-0 and Sanchez followed with his 10th of the season, a 418-foot shot to left-center field.

Milwaukee added to its lead in the third when Brice Turang led off with a single and Contreras homered to right-center field, his 21st of the season, to give the Brewers a 4-0 lead.

McMahon led off the top of the fourth with his 18th home run of the season, but Myers was in control in his second start of the season against Colorado.

He struck out the side in the third inning, allowed just one hit after McMahon’s homer, a single to McMahon, scattered four hits and ended his night by striking out Michael Toglia looking.

His team gave him an insurance run in the bottom of the fourth. Sal Frelick singled with two outs, which ended Blach’s night, and Joey Ortiz doubled off of reliever Jake Bird to drive in Frelick to give Milwaukee a 5-1 lead.

Blach (3-8) allowed five runs on six hits in 3 2/3 innings.

Hilliard cut into the lead in the eighth inning with a 434-foot homer into the second deck in right field, his sixth of the season.
