Tyler Black drove in the go-ahead run with an eighth-inning groundout as the host Milwaukee Brewers rallied for a 6-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday afternoon.

Enrique Hernandez put Los Angeles up 4-3 with an RBI single in the sixth, but everything fell apart for the Dodgers two innings later.

Daniel Hudson (6-2) took over on the mound to start the bottom of the eighth and gave up Jackson Chourio’s double and walked Garrett Mitchell before William Contreras singled to load the bases with no outs.

A run-scoring single from Willy Adames tied the game, then Black plated Mitchell with his groundout. Rhys Hoskins followed with a groundout of his own to bring in another run, making it 6-4. It marked Hudson’s seventh blown save of the year.

Devin Williams struck out two during a 1-2-3 ninth for his third save of the season. Bryan Hudson (5-1), who logged two scoreless innings of relief, earned the win.

With the victory, Milwaukee came away with a split of the four-game series with Los Angeles.

Chourio and Contreras both went deep and finished with two hits apiece for the Brewers, who won for just the second time in five games. Brice Turang also had two hits.

Gavin Lux went 2-for-3 with one RBI, two runs and a walk for the Dodgers.

Milwaukee wasted little time jumping on Los Angeles starter Jack Flaherty, as Chourio clubbed a two-run homer and Contreras added a solo shot to put the hosts up 3-0 in the first.

Jason Heyward plated Lux with a groundout and Andy Pages smacked an RBI double that deflected off left fielder Chourio’s glove to allow the Dodgers to get two runs back in the second.

Los Angeles drew even at 3 in the third thanks to three straight two-out singles, with Lux’s bringing home Freddie Freeman.

Flaherty quickly settled down after getting roughed up in the first, retiring 12 of the 13 batters he faced following Contreras’ home run.

Neither starter factored into the decision.

The Brewers’ Tobias Myers yielded four runs (two earned) and eight hits in 5 2/3 innings. He walked one and fanned one. Flaherty ended up lasting five innings, allowing the three runs on four hits while walking two and striking out seven.
