Monday night’s game between the Los Angeles Angels and Cincinnati Reds in Anaheim, Calif., was postponed due to the effects of Tropical Storm Hilary, which drenched Southern California on Sunday.
The game was rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday.
Hilary was the first tropical storm to hit Southern California in 84 years. While rainy and windy conditions subsided Monday, the Southern California region has been saturated following heavy precipitation.
With the storm pending, the Angels played a doubleheader on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Rays, calling off the Sunday game.
