Jo Adell went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and drove in four runs — including the go-ahead RBI as part of a six-run 10th inning — as the visiting Los Angeles Angels salvaged the final game of a three-game series with the Athletics in an 11-5 victory on Sunday afternoon in West Sacramento, Calif.

Zach Neto homered, Luis Rengifo hit a two-run triple and Christian Moore had three RBIs for Los Angeles, which snapped a two-game losing streak.

Taylor Ward and Nolan Schanuel each doubled and had two hits for the Angels, who remain seven games behind the New York Yankees for the final wild-card spot in the American League.

Kenley Jansen (5-2) pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the bottom of the ninth inning to pick up the victory.

Nick Kurtz, Shea Langeliers and Lawrence Butler each homered for the Athletics. Brent Rooker added a double, and Darell Hernaiz contributed two hits. Michael Kelly (2-2) suffered the loss after allowing four runs (three earned) in 1/3 of an inning.

Adell singled in designated runner Mike Trout to break a 5-5 tie in the 10th. After Moore drove in Ward, who had walked, with a fielder’s choice, Rengifo broke the game open with a two-run triple over the head of center fielder Butler to make it 9-5.

Bryce Teodosio plated Rengifo with a sacrifice fly, and Neto followed with his 21st homer of the season, a 436-foot drive to left, to cap the six-run inning.

Los Angeles jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning on Adell’s 26th home run of the year, a three-run line drive to left that brought in Schanuel and Ward, who singled and doubled, respectively.

The Athletics cut the lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the first when Rooker drilled a double into the left-field corner and scored on a single by Tyler Soderstrom.

The A’s tied it in the third on back-to-back homers by Kurtz and Langeliers off starter Jose Soriano. Kurtz’s 25th home run of the season was an opposite-field drive just over the left field fence, and Langeliers followed on the next pitch with a 427-foot drive to center.

The Angels regained the lead in the fifth when Trout led off with a walk and Adell followed one out later with a ground-rule double over the right field fence. One out later, Moore lined a two-run single to right to put Los Angeles on top 5-3.

The Athletics tied it 5-5 in the sixth on a solo homer by Butler and an RBI single by Luis Urias, who drove in Brett Harris after he reached with a double.
