The Los Angeles Angels acquired infielder Vaughn Grissom from the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday in exchange for minor league outfielder Isaiah Jackson.

Grissom, 24, last was in the major leagues in 2024 when he played 31 games for the Red Sox while batting .190 with six RBIs. He has 95 games of major league experience over three seasons, batting .255 with five home runs and 33 RBIs with the Atlanta Braves and Red Sox.

Grissom played in 96 games at Triple-A Worcester last season, batting .270 with 13 home runs and 48 RBIs, while spending half of his time at second base.

Jackson, 21, was drafted in the eighth round by the Angels earlier this year out of Arizona State and played 10 games at Single-A Tri-City where he hit a home run among his seven hits in 10 games.
