Hunter Goodman had three hits and Kyle Farmer and Jordan Beck contributed two hits apiece for Colorado (41-111), which has dropped 21 of its past 25.

The start of the game was delayed 40 minutes due to inclement weather in the area.

The Rockies took the lead in the second inning against Marlins starter Ryan Weathers. Farmer singled in Ezequiel Tovar, who had led off the inning with a single that was followed by a walk to Blaine Crim.

Braxton Fulford drove in another run in the inning with a sacrifice fly to right field.

Miami got a run back in the third when Jakob Marsee and Ramirez drew two-out walks and Liam Hicks followed with an RBI single.

The Marlins took the lead in the fourth with another two-out rally.

Heriberto Hernandez walked, went to second on Johnston’s single and scored on a double by Sanoja. Marsee beat out an infield single to drive in Johnston to give the Marlins a 3-2 edge.

Colorado tied it in the bottom of the fourth inning when Goodman doubled with two outs and scored on Beck’s single. Weathers retired Brenton Doyle to end his night after allowing three runs on eight hits in four innings.

Rockies starter McCade Brown left after allowing three runs on four hits and four walks in four innings.

Miami took a 4-3 lead against Jaden Hill (1-1) on Ramirez’s sacrifice fly in the sixth, and Hernandez had another sacrifice fly in the seventh.

Ramirez padded the lead in the eighth with his 21st homer, a two-run shot to left, and Joey Wiemer had an RBI single in the ninth.

Mickey Moniak homered leading off the bottom of the ninth. It was his 23rd.
