Jose Miranda homered and doubled, and Luis Arraez went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs to help lead the host Minnesota Twins to a 7-3 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday night in Minneapolis.

Jorge Polanco doubled among two hits and had two RBIs, and Jake Cave added an RBI triple for Minnesota, which won for the third time in its last four games.

Trevor Megill (3-1), who took over for starter Dylan Bundy at the beginning of the fifth inning, picked up the win with a hitless inning of relief.

Bo Bichette went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had two singles to extend his career-best hitting streak to 17 games for Toronto, which lost its second straight contest.

Mitch White (1-3), making his first start for the Blue Jays after coming over from the Los Angeles Dodgers at the trade deadline on Tuesday, suffered the loss. He allowed three runs on six hits over 4 2/3 innings and walked one while striking out two.

Minnesota took a 2-0 lead in the third inning. Sandy Leon led off with a walk and advanced to third on a double by Arraez. One out later, Leon scored on a groundout to third by Byron Buxton. Polanco then followed with a single to right to drive in Arraez.

Toronto tied it in the fourth when Teoscar Hernandez led off with a double and scored on Bichette’s 15th home run of the season into the bleachers in left, snapping a 19-game homerless drought.

The Twins regained the lead in the fifth when Arraez led off with a double that left fielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. lost in the lights. He later scored on a double into the right field corner by Polanco.

Miranda made it 4-2 in the sixth when he led off with his 11th home run of the season. Nick Gordon followed with a single, stole second, advanced to third on a groundout by Cave and then scored on a safety squeeze by Leon.

Toronto pitcher Tim Mayza suffered a dislocated right shoulder on the play when he tried to tag Gordon crossing the plate.

The Blue Jays cut it to 5-3 in the top of the eighth on an RBI single by Bichette, but Minnesota answered with two runs in the bottom half of the frame.
