Mark Mitchell produced 18 points, six rebounds and six assists as Missouri defeated Minnesota 83-60 on Wednesday in Columbia, Mo.

Jacob Crews came off the bench to score 14 points and grab eight rebounds for the Tigers (4-0).

Sebastian Mack also put up 14 points for Missouri. Jayden Stone logged 13 points, and Anthony Robinson II added 10.

Cade Tyson led the Golden Gophers (2-1) with 17 points. Isaac Asuma scored 13 points, and Jaylen Crocker-Johnson grabbed 12 rebounds.

Missouri shot 11 of 22 from 3-point range while Minnesota missed 18 of 23 shots from beyond the arc. The Golden Gophers got 14 offensive rebounds but managed just eight second-chance points.

The Tigers led 32-30 at the half, then dominated the final 20 minutes 51-30.

The Golden Gophers took an early 10-5 lead with Asuma hitting his first two attempts from 3-point range.

Mack kept the Tigers within reach while scoring their first eight points with a drive to the basket and two 3-point jumpers.

After Minnesota answered with a 7-0 run capped by Bobby Durkin’s 3-point jumper, the Tigers later used a 13-3 run to surge to a 25-24 lead. Mitchell converted a three-point play and Robinson hit a 3-point jumper to put the Tigers ahead.

The Tigers finished the first half with a two-point lead despite getting outrebounded 24-11.

Minnesota opened the second half with a 10-3 surge to move ahead 40-35. Asuma and Chansey Willis Jr. hit 3-point jumpers to propel the Golden Gophers.

After five lead changes, the Tigers created separation with an 21-1 run highlighted by four baskets from Mitchell and Luke Northweather’s transition 3-point jumper.

Crews’ 3-point jumper and Stone’s transition dunk extended Missouri’s lead to 63-47 — and the rout was on.
