UBS analysts restated their Buy rating and set a price target of $400.00 for Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT). They noted that the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) has been slower than expected, but it is now poised to accelerate with the introduction of Azure’s H100 clusters.
The analysts commented that following several recent AI advancements, they wanted to provide an update on Microsoft’s status, particularly regarding its deployment of H100 GPUs, the rollout of M365 Copilot, and other AI-related insights gathered from industry checks. They also shared an initial assessment of Microsoft’s performance in the realm of AI over the past nine months. In summary, the analysts expressed optimism about the stock’s prospects, especially in anticipation of significant AI-related catalysts.
