Microsoft (MSFT) announces its pricing on its new artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and Bing Chat Enterprise. These offerings were already available to some customers through its Early Access Program and the tech giant said that feedback provided indicated that Copilot increased productivity. So, the Redmond Washington giant was expanding its availability to additional customers. The company’s share price rose on Tuesday after the announcement.
According to the blog on its website, Microsoft introduced three updated or new tools:
Bing Chat Enterprise
Microsoft 365 Copilot
Microsoft Sales Copilot.
Microsoft said that its expansion of Bing Chat Enterprise preview on July 18 will give more than 160 million people access to the AI powered chat at work. It has commercial data protection and is not saved. It is currently free with Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard and Business Premium and will be available as a standalone service for $5 per month in future.
Microsoft 365 Copilot will be available for Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard and Business Premium customers. Its pricing will be $30 per month as it will be widely rolled out to reach an expanding base of customers.
Microsoft 365 Copilot is grounded in customers business data in Microsoft Graph that includes emails, calendar, chats documents and more and can help in project development, SWOT analysis and more.
Microsoft 365 Copilot also enhances customers’ creativity in the Microsoft Office Suite such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Inbox, Microsoft Teams and more.
Microsoft Sales Copilot as the name suggests is for sales professionals. This AI enabled tool will help these professionals to close deals faster and in larger numbers as it works to increase productivity as well as to personalize every interaction with customers.
Microsoft Sales Copilot offers domain specific expertise with new AI-powered capabilities. It can also be accessed in tools such as Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales.
Microsoft said that it wants to help organizations use the capabilities of AI customers’ privacy secure while meeting highest standards for enterprise security, compliance as well as deploying AI in a responsible manner.
Microsoft 365 Copilot was launched in May as a paid Early Access Program to 600 global enterprise customers. Now the tech giant is expanding its reach to more enterprise customers as the program has been successful with these customers including KPMG, Lumen, Good Year, General Motors, and other giants.
