The Dallas Mavericks officially signed guard/forward Justin Holiday on Wednesday.
Holiday, 33, joins the Mavs after reaching a buyout agreement with the Houston Rockets, who acquired him last week in a trade-deadline deal with Atlanta.
Holiday appeared in 28 games off the bench for the Hawks and averaged 4.5 points and 14.7 minutes.
He has career averages of 8.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 604 games (285 starts) with eight teams since entering the league in 2012-13.
The Mavs said Holiday will wear No. 0.
He is one of three brothers in the league. Jrue plays for the Milwaukee Bucks and Aaron plays for the Hawks.
