At 3.36 on Saturday, a gunman identified by local police Mauricio Garcia opened fire outside of H&M in the Allen Premium Outlets in Texas. The shooter who, according to witnesses, was armed with a rifle and dressed in tactical gear killed eight people and injured seven others before being shot and killed by a police officer.
An unnamed police officer, who was in the area for a separate call came over when he heard gunfire outside the H&M and killed the shooter. Just before shooting the AR-15-wielding shooter who had slain eight people in a Texas mall, a heroic police officer who stopped the attack made a desperate appeal for help.

Seven individuals, including the shooter, expired at the site, according to Allen Fire Chief Jonathan Boyd. Ambulances transported nine individuals to trauma centers. Two of them passed away after being admitted to hospitals. Four of the survivors were stable as of Saturday night, while three others were in severe condition and undergoing surgery. There were kids among the victims. As of Sunday morning, neither the ages nor the names of the deceased had been disclosed.
A vigil for the victims will take place at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen on Sunday at 5 o’clock.
According to witnesses, the shooter was completely in black, wore a tactical vest, and was carrying a weapon. “An assault weapon in the style of the AR-15,” said President Biden. His clothing “looked like a SWAT uniform without the letters ‘SWAT’ on it,” one woman reported.
No information regarding the shooter’s identity or potential motivation has been made public. The suspect is thought to have lived with his parents in a house in northeast Dallas, where FBI officials spent hours on Saturday evening, according to WFAA-TV. The suspect was last seen there a couple of weeks ago, according to neighbors. Agents have searched two sites linked to the suspect, the FBI reported on Sunday.

Online dashcam footage appears to show the shooter getting out of a grey Dodge Charger and starting to fire at people on the sidewalk outside of H&M. Witnesses reported that he fired many bullets. Another witness appeared to have shot the video from the parking lot car.
A gun with an extended magazine is shown close to his body in a social media video. The gunman can be seen in the footage donning a vest that appears to hold more than seven weapon magazines. The City of Dallas logo appears to be inked on the shooter’s left hand.
