In September, when Floridian Gabby Petito disappeared, there was a massive manhunt to find her as well as Brian Laundrie who became a person of interest, after her body was found in Wyoming. At least nine other bodies have also be found as the search for Laundrie continues, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
Gabby Petito’s body was found on September 19, two days after Brian Laundrie disappeared from his home in Florida and was reported missing on September 17. As the search for him continues or may stop as human remains were found on Wednesday, which could be his. They were found in the Florida reserve where Laundrie, the main suspect in Petito’s death, was reportedly last seen.
Some of the other bodies that were found during the massive manhunt, in which the FBI were also involved with other law enforcement, were of the following persons:
Emily Ferlazzo was recently found. She was reported missing, on Monday, by her parents. Her 41-year old husband, Joseph Ferlazzo told her parents in New Hampshire that he had not seen his wife since Saturday. He plead not guilty to her death, on Wednesday.
On October 9,
remains of a woman were found in a California desert. Lauren Cho of Flemington, New Jersey had visited Yucca with former boyfriend Chris Orell. She vanished on June 28 and there is a possibility that they could be identified as her remains.
On October 9, the remains of Sara Bayard were discovered off a highway of Douglas county. She was reported to have been spotted at a gas station in the same county on June 28. She was reported missing on July 4.
On October 9, the body of Josue Calderon from New Jersey was discovered in Blue Ridge Parkway along the Appalachian Trial. The 33-year old man was found stabbed to death below the Yadkin Valley Overlook in North Carolina.
Miya Marcano’s body was found in a wooded area near her apartment building, Arden Villas on October 2. She was reported missing on September 24.
A male body was discovered in a dumpster at a Walmart in Alabama. The police said that it was that of a homeless man.
Robert “Bob” Lowery’s body was discovered on September 28, in Bridger-Teton National Forest. The 46-year old father of two from Houston, was reported missing on August 20.
Kylen Shulte and Crystal Turner were found dead near La Sal Mountains, an hour away from Moab. The 24 and 38 year old newly wed couple were shot and killed. They were reported missing on August 16.
