Celebrity couple David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s home in West London was broken into by a masked burglar. The couple were in residence and the burglary was discovered by their 17-year old son Cruz. They lost valuables that were worth thousands of dollars. David, Victoria and daughter Harper, 10 were relaxing downstairs while the thief was ransacking designer wear and electronic goods from an empty room upstairs.

Cruz stumbled upon the bedroom which was ransacked, when he returned home, late in the night or in the early hours of the morning. He found broken glass on the floor of the room. A window on the floor had been shattered and the glass was strewn on the floor.
David had reportedly called 999 (the equivalent of 911 in the nation). He and Cruz searched the house to look for the burglar while Harper stayed with her 47-year old mother Victoria and waited for the police to arrive.
This incident happened on February 28. London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed that the burglary had taken place and investigations were ongoing. No one has been arrested, as yet. Two other properties in the neighborhood might have also been targeted.

The burglar reportedly broke in from a neighboring home which was empty, as building works were in progress. The police asked neighbors to give them videos from their security cameras. On March 31, there was painting activities taking place in the home next door. There are also big signs with warnings that say that the building is under 24-hour surveillance.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, a Met spokesperson said, “Police were called at 00:37 hours on Tuesday, March 1 to reports of a burglary at a residential address in the W11 area of Kensington.
The spokesperson added that the burglary might have taken place “between 20:30 and 23:30 on Monday, February 28.” The statement added that a number of items were reported to be stolen and that no arrests had been made and “inquiries continue.”
