Marina Mabrey poured in 28 points and Kahleah Copper scored 24 to lift the host Chicago Sky to a 108-103 overtime win over the Indiana Fever on Tuesday night.

Chicago’s Dana Evans had 20 points — all after halftime — and seven assists. Alanna Smith supplied 18 points, including a last-second, game-tying layup at the end of regulation.

Smith gave the Sky a 98-96 lead with 1:19 left in overtime on an inside basket. Evans hit a 3-pointer to stretch the edge to five points, and she added another basket with 26 seconds left to clinch the win.

Chicago (5-3) had five players sidelined, leaving the squad with only eight in uniform.

Aliyah Boston led the Fever (1-5) with 25 points and 11 rebounds, and Kristy Wallace had 16 points. Kelsey Mitchell tossed in 14 points, Lexie Hull had 13 and Erica Wheeler supplied 12 points and 12 assists.

The Sky emerged from the first quarter with a 26-25 lead behind Mabrey, who scored 10 points.

Wheeler made a layup just before the halftime buzzer, giving the Fever a 50-44 lead. Hull led Indiana at the break with 11 points, while Mabrey topped the Sky with 18.

Wheeler and Mitchell scored the first two baskets of the second half to extend Indiana’s lead to 10. Chicago then went on a 13-3 run, including a pair of Copper baskets and an Evans 3-pointer, to tie the score.

The Fever made four free throws before the quarter ended to take a five-point advantage into the fourth.

Boston scored in the low post with 2:30 left for an 85-82 Fever lead.

Copper made 3 of 4 free-throw attempts to tie the score, but Boston scored on consecutive possessions around an Evans hoop to give Indiana an 89-87 advantage. Copper tied it again with an inside basket with 10.1 seconds left.

Wheeler missed on Indiana’s next possession, but Boston secured the rebound and scored on a putback with 2.1 seconds to go. Smith then made a layup just before the final buzzer to send the game to overtime.
