Los Angeles residents were woken up this morning when an earthquake temblor occurred at 4:40 AM Pacific Coast time in Los Angeles. The trembler was centered near LAX centered at the cross streets, Prairie and Century boulevards, about 1 mile east-northeast of Lennox, California.
A 2.5 magnitude aftershock that was recorded only minutes later. There were no reports of any damage or injuries.
