The news that Madonna had been admitted to the ICU in late June upset and worried fans in July. Madonna had been battling a “serious bacterial infection” and had spent many days in the intensive care unit, according to a post on Instagram by her longtime manager Guy Oseary.
In addition to celebrating Madonna’s 65th birthday, today August 16th, we have reason to rejoice for the 7-time Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall Famer coming back on tour.
Madonna’s concert in Detroit on August 5 that was cancelled due to the singer’s health crisis earlier this summer has since been rescheduled for January 15, 2024, at Little Caesars Arena by Detroit’s own Material Girl, thus the anticipation can now officially begin. And she has a California concert Mar 13, 2024, Madonna (Rescheduled from 1/11) at Acrisure Arena in Thousand Palms, CA. Madonna’s full concert tour dates are available at Events Ticket Center.
Madonna stayed connected with her fans on Instagram- staying active on social media. The next month after the word got out about her hospital stay, Madonna posted to her fans “Love from family and friends is the best Medicine. One month out of the hospital and I can reflect. As a mother you can really get caught up In the needs of your children and the seemingly endless giving………. But when the chips were down my children really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference.” In particular, she made a very proud comment- If you zoom into this picture, I am holding You will see A Polaroid taken by Andy Warhol of Keith Haring wearing a jacket with Michael Jackson’s face painted on it. A perfect triangle of Brilliance.
