Lou, a reclusive gym manager, becomes deeply infatuated with Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder traveling through town on her way to Vegas to chase her ambition. Their love sparks violence, entangling them in Lou’s criminal family’s network.
Set in 1989, Glass portrays a secluded community in New Mexico that appears to trap individuals in patterns of violence, marking the decline of the musclebound hero period. Lou is from a well-known family, and her father, Lou Sr. (portrayed by the talented Ed Harris), holds a prominent position as the town’s criminal leader. The gun range owner is smuggling firearms across the border.
