Lola is a 2024 American indie drama film helmed by Nicola Peltz and Bria Vinaite, who are making their directorial debut. The screenplay for the film was penned by Peltz. The film has Nicola Peltz and Virginia Madsen as the main cast.
Nicola Peltz Beckham’s first feature film, Lola, will premiere on February 9.
Peltz stars as the titular Lola James and writes the screenplay, producing and directing the film. To save her younger brother Arlo, who is nine years old, from their violent mother, the protagonist, a 19-year-old Midwesterner, must scrape together enough money. Her plans are thrown for a loop when tragedy strikes, and she discovers she is pregnant against her will, as shown in the new trailer.
