Team Liquid swept Dignitas 3-0 on Sunday in the lower-bracket quarterfinals of the League Championship Series Spring Split playoffs.
After opening the match with a 31-minute victory on blue, Team Liquid prevailed twice on red — in 25 and 28 minutes — to move on to the lower-bracket quarterfinals, where they will face 100 Thieves on Friday.
Sean “Yeon” Sung of the United States led Team Liquid with a kill-death-assist ratio of 19-2-23.
The Spring Split playoff champion and runner-up will be the North American League of Legends circuit’s representatives in the Mid-Season Invitational, scheduled for May 1-19 in China. The LCS winner heads to the MSI main draw, while the second-place team will compete in the MSI’s play-in event.
