Trailing twice, T1 bounced back to upend Bilibili Gaming and take home the $445,000 first prize on Saturday at the 2024 League of Legends World Championship grand final in Berlin.

Runner-up Bilibili Gaming earned $356,000 in defeat.

The Swiss Stage format of the $2.225 million event sorted 16 teams through five rounds, with the top eight teams after the five rounds advancing to the single-elimination knockout stage. All knockout matches were best-of-five.

All eight quarterfinalists were guaranteed at least $100,125.

In its 3-2 comeback victory, T1 dropped the first game to Billibilli in 27 minutes on blue before knotting the match with a 27-minute win on blue.

Billibilli again went ahead, prevailing on blue in 28 minutes, but T1 rebounded with back-to-back 32-minute wins on blue and red, respectively, to capture the title.

T1’s Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok earned MVP honors, posting 13 kills and 21 assists with 11 deaths.
