FlyQuest kept their perfect record intact to start Week 4 action in the League Championship Series Spring Split on Wednesday.
FlyQuest (7-0) defeated the ninth-place Immortals (2-5). Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves, who were among three teams tied for second place as the week began, squared off, with Evil Geniuses winning to improve to 5-2 and stay two games behind the leader. The third member of that group, Cloud9 (5-2), also won, keeping Dignitas winless in seven matches. 100 Thieves fell to 4-3.
In the day’s other matches, Counter Logic Gaming beat Team Liquid, leaving both teams at 3-4, and Golden Guardians knocked off TSM, with those teams also ending the day at 3-4.
All 10 teams in the top North American League of Legends circuit will play every other team twice through March 17. The winner and runner-up in the playoff final will earn berths in the Mid-Season Invitational along with other teams from LoL leagues worldwide. The LCS Spring Split carries a $200,000 prize pool, with the champion earning $100,000.
