Hai “Hai” Du Lam, a former mid laner for Cloud9’s League of Legends team, is now the side’s team manager.

The announcement was made Tuesday on Cloud9’s LinkedIn page.

Hai, a 31-year-old Vietnamese American, most recently served as the owner and a player for Radiance. The lower-level LoL team competed from 2019-22.

Hai’s career highs came with Cloud9 from 2012-16. During his time there, Cloud9 captured multiple championships, including titles at the North American League Championship Series Summer 2013, the NA LCS Spring 2014 and the IEM Season IX San Jose in 2014.

His Cloud9 sides also tied for fifth at the LoL World Championship in 2013 and 2014 and tied for ninth in 2015.

Hai also competed for FlyQuest in 2017 and for Golden Guardians in 2017-18.

This year, Cloud9 reached the LCS Summer final in August, losing 3-1 to NRG. That followed their run to the LCS Spring championship in April. They tied for fifth at the worldwide Mid-Season Invitational, and they will compete in the League of Legends World Championship beginning later this month in South Korea.
