Bilibili Gaming outlasted PSG Talon 3-2 on Thursday to advance to the upper bracket semifinals at the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2024 in Chengdu, China.
The teams alternated wins through the first four maps before Bilibili Gaming secured the decisive 24-minute win on blue to finish the match.
Bilibili Gaming moved on to face the winner of Friday’s upper bracket quarterfinal between G2 Esports and T1.
PSG Talon dropped into the lower bracket, joining Fnatic and Team Liquid.
Gen.G Esports and Top Esports will meet in the first upper bracket semifinal on Saturday.
The $250,000 tournament began on May 1 with 12 teams competing for a $50,000 grand prize and qualification into the 2024 World Championship. The play-in stage concluded Sunday, with the bracket stage opening Tuesday.
