The film “Lisa Frankenstein” will be exclusively shown in cinemas on Valentine’s Day in 2024. Authored by Diablo Cody and helmed by Zelda Williams.

Diablo Cody, the Academy Award-winning screenwriter for Juno and Jennifer’s Body, penned an excellent story. At the same time, Zelda Williams, the daughter of the late Robin Williams, makes her inaugural foray into directing.

Diablo Cody, a renowned writer known for her work on “Jennifer’s Body,” presents a compelling tale of love and anger. The plot revolves around an often misunderstood adolescent and her infatuation with a charming deceased individual who attends her high school. Following a series of darkly amusing events that revive him, the duo embarks on a homicidal quest to seek out affection, joy, and a handful of absent anatomical components during their journey.

The blend of dark comedy and romance, coupled with the infusion of reality and the 70’s fashion, was undeniably superb.

Cast: Kathryn Newton portrays Lisa, Liza Soberano as Taffy, Jenna Davis as Lori, Trina LaFargue as Tricia, and Paola Andino as Misty.
