The Los Angeles Lakers ruled out superstar LeBron James for Monday night’s game against Denver with ankle soreness.
James was downgraded to questionable earlier in the day.
James is coming off a 37-point performance in the Lakers’ 136-134 win over Sacramento on Saturday. He logged 38 minutes in the win.
The 38-year-old is averaging 29.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game for the Lakers this season.
The Lakers are on a five-game winning streak and are trying to get to .500 for the first time. At 19-21 entering Monday’s game, they’re currently the 11th seed in the Western Conference.
