Latrell Wrightsell Jr. sank a career-best seven 3-pointers to highlight his season-high-tying 21-point performance, lifting No. 23 Alabama to a 90-64 victory over Missouri on Tuesday in a Southeastern Conference game in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Wrightsell made 7 of 11 shots from the floor to match his season-high point total of 21, set in a 96-75 setback to Arizona on Dec. 13.

Labaron Philon Jr. collected 18 points and six assists as the Crimson Tide (14-6, 4-3 SEC) rode a decisive advantage in both 3-pointers and foul shooting to their third win in the last four games. Alabama made 15 of 39 shots from beyond the arc and 23 of 26 from the free-throw line, while Missouri went 4 of 21 and 8 of 23, respectively.

Aiden Sherrell scored 16 points and Charles Bediako recorded 14 points and six rebounds while playing in his second game during his “second” stint with the team. Bediako is playing under a temporary restraining order after returning to the team.

Alabama had 19 assists on its 26 successful made shots from the floor.

Missouri’s T.O. Barrett scored 13 points and Mark Mitchell added 11 despite a dismal 1-for-8 performance from the foul line.

Shawn Phillips Jr. recorded 10 points and eight rebounds for the Tigers (14-7, 4-4), who lost for the third time in four games despite owning a decisive 44-20 edge in points in the paint.

Mitchell’s driving layup brought Missouri within three points at 26-23 before Alabama erupted on a 16-4 run. Philon sank a pair of 3-pointers and Bediako converted an alley-oop to highlight that sequence.

Barrett sank a pair of 3-pointers as Missouri scored eight of the first 12 points in the second half to trim its deficit to nine at 46-37. Alabama didn’t buckle and went on a scintillating 23-9 run, a stretch highlighted by four 3-pointers from Wrightsell.

The outcome wasn’t in doubt the rest of the way.
