On Saturday, a man from Los Angeles spent more than $17,000 to propose to his girlfriend. After his proposal was accepted, he sent a mocking message to Joe Rogan commenting on his height that he is 5’3 tall. Although his name has not been revealed but is said to be Mike, residents congratulated his fiancée and took to Twitter to praise the stunt.

The company called Sky Typers told The Wrap that someone had paid them 17,500 for 10 messages. According to its website the messages are written using a computer system which sends a signal to their planes smoke system.
This allows it to release a puff of smoke which forms into letters and the message appears on the sky. It remains readable for three to seven minutes. Each letter is 1,250 feet tall, which is the height of the Empire State Building in Manhattan.
The messages read
- “Will you marry me Mollie Pratt
- “She said yes”
- “I love you more than anything”
- “Excited to spend my life with you”
- “Until death do us part”
Etc. etc.
But the message “Joe Rogan is literally 5 foot 3” set Twitter abuzz, with some onlookers speculating whether it was a stunt by Rogan himself to promote his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience.

In a Wikipedia entry, someone wrote that he was five feet tall. The popular podcast host had then mentioned in a 2015 tweet that he was five foot eight inches. He has not addressed this latest height remark.
Rogan created a lot of discord when he said that young people need not get a vaccine. As an influencer, he came under fire for spreading vaccine hesitancy. However, the former Fear Factor host said that he had spoken out of turn as he was not a respected source of information and also called himself a “f**king moron” as he took back his comments.
What will he say to the LA man’s comment on his height? We don’t know as yet.
