Kroger Supermarket mask guidance requires unvaccinated associates to wear masks and requests that unvaccinated customers wear masks when in our stores and facilities.
Due to the Delta variant and updated CDC recommended guidelines, Kroger is strongly encourage all individuals, including those who are vaccinated, to wear a mask when in our stores and facilities. Kroger will continue to follow all state and local mandates encouraging all Americans to get vaccinated, including their employees as well as contractors that enter their stores. Kroger’s Chief Medical Officer, Marc Watkins, M.D. also agrees with the recommendations.
Kroger stores have enhanced cleaning protocols. Physical distancing across all stores and warehouses will be required. Kroger will offer associates a $100 one-time payment for receiving the recommended doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Grocery Dive reports,” Kroger released a statement with the following: “We continue to strongly encourage customers to wear masks to protect themselves and others, and to curb the spread of COVID-19. Where there are local and state mandates, we will continue to abide by those.”
