The source told the outlet they will be on their next official visit to other countries in the Commonwealth early next year.
King Charles III was expected to visit India in the second half of 2022. However, the visit was postponed due to the demise of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. Charles and Camilla reportedly visited a wellness center in Bengaluru in October. They stopped at the spa for rejuvenation during a private visit as the King’s medical team had recommended healthy breaks during his overseas visits.
King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer this January. After undergoing treatment for his medical condition, he resumed his royal duties and made his first official overseas visit after his cancer diagnosis to Australia and Samoa last month.
King Charles’s visit as the head of the commonwealth is also a soft part of diplomacy between nations. If he decides to visit these countries early next year, South Asia, including its neighbors, will welcome him and Queen Camilla.
