A killer dad has blamed his wife and mistress for the death of his wife and young children. A popular outlet obtained letters written by him to a cellmate, and they reveal that he is blaming everyone except himself for the murder of his wife and two young children, and web fans find this to be horrifying.
New York Post viewed several handwritten letters from Chris Watts. The 39-year-old, who is serving a life sentence in a cell at Dodge Correctional Institution, claims in his letters that his pregnant wife was a “control freak.”
Watts also blamed her for pushing him to get a mistress as his new love interest was “everything my wife wasn’t like with me.”
The killer, however, disparaged his mistress in another letter and told his cellmate Dylan Tallman in another letter that his mistress Nichol Kessinger was a “harlot” and “jezebel.” At the same time, the fact remains that he lied to her and described himself as a single dad with kids instead of revealing that he was married to a wife and kids.
Web fans were horrified about how he described the flaws of his wife and mistress without accepting any blame. Some of them even suggested that he could have gotten a separation or divorce from his wife instead of killing her and their young children.
Chris Watts strangled his wife Shanann and smothered his two daughters, who were aged three and four, on August 13, 2018, in their home in Frederick, Colorado. Shanann had just returned from Arizona and had been away for weeks on a business trip.
Watts buried his wife in a shallow grave. He dumped the bodies of his young daughters in oil storage tanks. However, he pretended that he was not involved in their disappearance and even pleaded for them to come home in an appearance on TV.
The woman he misled, who happened to be his mistress for a short period, reportedly told the police that she had texted Watts and asked if he had done anything wrong he said that he had not, and that was the last text Nichol Kessinger received from him.
Chris Watts is serving five life sentences as well as 48 years in prison without the possibility of parole. He is incarcerated in a prison in Waupun, Wisconsin.
