Analysts at Wedbush provided their outlook on KB Home (NYSE:KBH) ahead of the upcoming Q3 earnings, expecting EPS to exceed the Street estimates.
The analysts view the recent volatility in mortgage rates as a demand headwind for the company and the homebuilding industry. Presumably, the company has been leaning on financing incentives to help with affordability.
For Q3, the analysts expect EPS of $2.67, compared to the Street estimate of $2.66. For revenues, the analysts expect 25% year-over-year growth to $1.8 billion on an 8% increase in closings and a 16% gain in the average sales price to $495,000.
