JPMorgan Chase (JPM) CEO Jamie Dimon and Tesla CEO Elon Musk (TSLA) have “hugged it out” according to a report in a popular outlet. In an interview at the World Economic Forum held at Davos, Switzerland, the banker said that the contentious relationship with the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) was over. Dimon also praised Tesla CEO Musk for his achievements.
In a TV interview with CNBC on Wednesday Jamie Dimon said, “Elon and I hugged it out” and more. He explained that both of them had met at one of the conferences held by the bank and that they “had a nice long chat” and had also “settled” some of their “differences.”
JPMorgan CEO Dimon also made a favorable comparison with one of the greatest global, American scientists in the course of the interview with the outlet.
He said of Musk, “This guy is our Einstein. I’d like to be helpful to him and his companies as much as we can.”
Elon Musk is not only the richest man in the world but is also the CEO of successful companies such as Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, xAI, The Boring Company and the popular social media platform X.
Elon Musk has also become part of President Donald Trump’s close circle of friends. He helped in Trump’s campaign with donations, being on the ground in Pennsylvania as well as using his social media platform X in the presidential campaign.
President Trump put Elon Musk in charge of the Department of Government Efficiency, and he has already started work by removing website of DEIA, as reported earlier by CWEB.
JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon also wished the new advisory department DOGE set up by President Trump and headed by Elon Musk his best and said that he wanted to “be helpful to them.”
