Jayson Tatum collected 28 points and 12 rebounds to help the Boston Celtics earn a 112-98 road victory over the Washington Wizards on Sunday night.

Payton Pritchard came off the bench and had 15 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for Boston, which has won its last seven meetings with Washington and is 3-0 against the Wizards this season. Each of the three victories came on the road.

Boston also received seven points, 11 rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes from Luke Kornet.

Bilal Coulibaly made the Wizards’ first three 3-point attempts, but they were 10 of 37 from 3-point territory after that. It was Washington’s 19th loss in its last 20 games.

Jordan Poole led the Wizards with 21 points. Coulibaly finished with 19 points and Justin Champagnie added 13 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. Carlton Carrington put up 11 points and 10 rebounds.

It was a rough shooting night for Boston’s Jaylen Brown, who was 4-of-14 from the field and 1-of-4 from the free throw line. He scored 11 points.

Boston’s Kristaps Porzingis scored 11 points before he left the game in the second quarter with a foot injury. He did not return.

Washington led by eight early, but Boston took a 21-18 lead on a Brown 3-pointer with 4:58 remaining in the opening quarter and never trailed after that. The Celtics scored the final 10 points in the first quarter and had a 34-23 advantage after 12 minutes.

Boston extended its lead to 20 points when a Pritchard 3-pointer gave the Celtics a 49-29 advantage with 7:42 left in the second quarter. The Celtics led by as many as 21 in the second and had a 67-52 lead at halftime.

The Wizards pulled within 10 points on a basket by Coulibaly with 4:05 left in the third, but Pritchard answered by hitting back-to-back 3-pointers. Boston had a 91-72 lead after three quarters.

Boston held a 22-point lead, its largest lead of the game, early in the fourth.
